Titanic's main anchor was made in by Hingley's of Netherton in the Black Country England it was hauled to the Dudley train station by a team of shire horses in 1911to be transported to Fleetwood where it was loaded on a ship for Belfast.

This year (2011) a replica anchor was forged in the same works at a cost of £50,000 it was hauled by a team of 20 shire horses
