Nomadic carried 142 first class to the Titanic 10th April 1912
Nomadic was requisitioned by the French Government and sent to Brest On 25th April 1917
Served as a troop ship for the U.S. 7th Infantry division 12th November for two years.
Involved in a collision with the Liner "Orinocco".
1928
German army invaded Cherbourg. Nomadic evacuated British soldiers On 18th June 1940
Last trip as tender to The Queen Elizabeth 4th November 1968
Nomadic was towed from Cherbourg to Le Havre, On 26th April 1969
Her twin, four cylinder, compound steam engines removed  
Arrived in Paris 17th October 1974
Opned as a floating resturaunt. 26th June 1977
The Paris harbour authorities seized Nomadic 2002
Towed out of Paris stripped of the superstructure. 1st April 2003
First auction took place the reserve price of Euro 500,000 was not met. 10th November 2005
Another auction with the reserve lowered to to €250,000
Belfast City Council offers £100,000 it was refused.
26th January 2006
Auction held, only one bid was placed, by the government Department for Social Development for £171,320 26th January 2006
Loaded onto a 91.46 metre long submersable barge. 12th July 2006
Arrived back in Belfast after 95 years. 15th July 2006
