Following
on from the success of last years inaugural event, which celebrated
the wealth of local talent from the area, the 2007 festival will
see the home-grown stars welcome their own musical friends and heroes
to Inishowen. Ciaran Tourish and Dermot Byrne of Altan fame will
host artists of the calibre of Paul Brady, Frankie Gavin and Steve
Cooney in 'The Best of Budgen' concert, while 'The Dohertys Welcome'
features Kevin Doherty (Four Men and a Dog) and Liz Doherty with
special guests such as Jerry Holland, Howie MacDonald and Mac Morin
from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada, along with Henry McCullough
and Gerry 'Banjo' O'Connor.
