Situated in the town of Fethard this excellent museum has many displays relating to the agricultural and domestic life of the locality, from the late nineteenth to early twentieth century. Among these are farm carts, horse drawn carriages and hearses, various household and kitchen items, a blacksmiths forge and tools, a set of jockey weighing scales, and many items of farm machinery.

This county museum has exhibits covering a wide time scale, these include Neolithic microliths, Bronze age axe heads and swords, Roman coins, early Christian cloak pins.
