Locke's Distillery Museum.

 

Locke's received its license to distill whiskey in 1757 and continued in business for almost two hundred years until 1954.

The property was eventually taken over by the local community, some renovations and repairs were carried out to the buildings and machinery, before it was opened as a museum, guided yours of the production areas of the distellery.

Of particular interest is the water wheel which once provided power for the machinery of the distillery

November - March 10am - 4 pm
