Travel & Holiday Nightmare's.

Unfortunately no all people visiting Ireland

If you have a story to tell

Our first story will hopefully make our visitors aware of how they can be severely financially disadvantaged by not reading and understanding the terms and conditions when booking a ferry crossing to or from Ireland.

A three day booking for a car and three passenger's was made with P & O Ferries for a crossing from Larne Co Antrim to Cairnryan in Scotland. Unfortunately due to a mechanical breakdown the traveler's arrived back at Cairnryan one day late, they were informed by P & O that the ticket was void and a new one was required, this one way ticket cost more than the original two way one. Surely this can only be construed as blatant profiteering, perhaps P & O stands for Prone to Opportunism.
