Decies B&B is a convenient touring base for Blarney castle, Cobh heritage centre and to west Cork. Some of our guests have toured the ring of Kerry and have returned the same day. Its just 20 minutes drive to Cork airport and the city. A little over 1 hour drive to Waterford the home of the world renown Waterford Crystal factory and showrooms.

The proprietress of Magannagan Farm (Mrs. Bridget O'Shea) is also a well known painter and some of her work can be seen at her home in Magannagan Farm B&B. Inspiration for her paintings comes predominantly from the local area of Glengarriff where she has lived for all of her life.

The many scenic attractions in the local area of Magannagan Farm offer her a basis from which her paintings evolve. The Shearwater Country House Bed and Breakfast is situated about 50 metres from Keelbeg Pier, Union Hall, West Cork on an elevated site overlooking Glandore Harbour and surrounding countryside.

Glen Country House Provides Bed & Breakfast accommodation near Kinsale which is situated in one of the most scenic locations in West Cork, overlooking Courtmacsherry Bay with views of The Atlantic Ocean. The house was built in 1860 on a much older site, hence the impressive avenue that approaches the house and old stone out buildings that surround the yard.

The house and garden are surrounded by mature hardwood trees in a parkland setting which sweeps down to the sea and is all part of a 300 acre working farm. The Scott family have farmed the land for over 350 years, and the present owners (Guy and Diana) recently renovated the house to a luxurious standard.

Glen Country House is ideally situated to enable guests to explore West Cork. We are 35 minutes from Cork Airport and the Ferry Terminal at Ringaskiddy, and less than an hour's drive from the City of Cork. Such localities as Glandore, Baltimore, Bantry, Glengarriff make an ideal day excursion. The gourmet centre of Ireland, Kinsale is just a 30 minute drive.

One never has to go far in Ireland without finding scenic walks, golf courses, rivers, mountains, and of course on our doorstep - the sea. There are tennis courts, squash courts, the only planetarium in Ireland and pony trekking.

The ferry to Cape Clear, boat trips, fresh and salt water angling and sailing are available for water lovers.
