Ceide Fields and Visitors Centre.
 

The Céide Fields consist of an area of 1,500 ha (3705 acres) containing field system and megalithic tombs dating back about five thousand years. The site has lain beneath the peat and bog land of Mayo for eons, its secrets being revealed by a series of excavations, it is the most extensive Stone Age monument in the world.

The visitors centre, an award winning pyramid structure of limestone and peat, has displays and exhibitions explaining the geology, archaeology, wildlife and botany of the area, it is possible to get a guided your of the area.
